Grand Brands is the branding and online development group of CPi Sites, Inc. http://www.CpiSites.com/ which is the online media group of Construction Publications, Inc. After 20 years in traditional media publishing including Magazines, Daily and Weekly Newspapers, Trade Journals, Buyers Guides, Specialty Publications and Trade Shows, Construction Publications Inc. management team found the internet in 1994. Or maybe the internet found us? At the time, part of our company was producing monthly Trade Publications and were offered the opportunity to have a website developed to give our readers a method to find the suppliers within their respective industries. We looked at it as a phone book for our industries served and all produced without a printing press. After a few months of beta testing on html hand coding and website designs, our graphic developers rolled out our first website in mid 1994 in the construction industry. Within 1 month the website was profitable and we never stopped adding to it, archiving and ramping it up. This became the first commercial website in the Construction Industry in the United States and won many awards year after year.

From our early start online in 1994, we realized that the internet was a domain name based system and the BEST domain name, with the BEST keywords would be the most sought after in their respective industry. Thus, we started adding to our domain name holdings and have never stopped. Our team has now developed over 300 websites and online businesses over the years and we still follow the same thought -  "It Starts With The Name".

We have continued to brand out websites, improve our development skills and become a "market maker" in many industries along the way. Our Management Team consists of a few of the same folks that started back with that first website in the early 90’s. Today we own a number of high profile businesses online, as well as a large advertising network with tens of thousands of domain names and brands worldwide.
